Just trying to find out what thoughts are towards Keyless Go option.
Reason being was going to option new shooting brake with option and dealer said could not remember last time anybody had specced car with this option...

Shocking:confused:

I personally love it and could not manage without it:thumb:

Love it on my SL. It's not a deal breaker, but it's nice to have! Complicated system though (not to use, design wise)!

I love having it on mine.
Wasn't looking for it when I bought the car and don't know if I would pay a large premium for it.

Only downside that I've come across is that the key battery has to be changed far more frequently than a normal key.

I loved mine too, on my previous S211.

For some reason, they deleted the feature off the S212, until recently :dk:.

keyless go is probably my favourite feature :)

Had it on previous Volvo, but not on the SLK.
Didn't think I would spec it as an option, but surprising how you miss it!

I would probably not have specced it but having got it I dislike being without it in other cars.

I agree it's one of the extras, that is actually useful - more so, than electric seats, auto lights etc. I've got used not having to look for keys with shopping bags in hands to open the boot.

+1

I would not even consider a Merc without it.

Fancy going back to using a key, how common!

Cheers

I was disappointed that it wasn't available as an option when I ordered my 2012 C350, but I'm managing to survive without. However there's NO WAY I could do without the electric memory seats. SWMBO is about 8" shorter than me and 35kg lighter so everything gets adjusted from one driver to the other. We both drive the car roughly the same amount so being able to just push one button for everything to be set right (except the interior mirror ) is invaluable. It's especially useful being able to do this from outside the car so I don't have to try squeezing into the 6" space she leaves between the steering wheel and seat back!

Keyless Go is very useful and the push start on the gear lever is worth the money on its own...

Is the Audi keyless too Lee? I had it on the A8 inc. fingerprint recognition and that was the best feature of the car.

No pal, at the time of me looking at 4.2 TDI's, there were none (?!) with keyless which was a feature I really wanted but had to forego.

I'm referring to the Keyless Go on my CL55 (it's also got Distronic, which isn't of any use to this thread, I'm just bragging...:D)

I thought you were talking about modern Beemers Lee, for which the phrase Keyless Go has a rather different meaning.

A must have option for me when I was looking for a E55... Can't live without it, my next Mercedes will need to have it.

Wrong Quote

I have got Keyless Go. Brilliant ( I would also like to brag. Distronic + Tyre Monitoring ) Do you have the Keyless Go cards as well ?

Do you have the Keyless Go cards as well ?

that's the older system :)

later systems are keys only
