Keyless start

I have just purchased a 2016 C350e.
According to the VIN decoding it has keyless go and keyless start. I can unlock and lock the doors just by using the handles as I've tried that.
The keyless start button is missing though. Can I just buy the appropriate one from ebay and stick it in or is there some programming needed?

It also has a whole bunch of things I didn't know about (active parking for instance) so I'll have to check that out!

Yes, button not there
I just phoned Mercedes and they confirmed it is plug and play. They would not give me the part number. I have never been refused a part number from a dealer before (although I've never had a Mercedes before)
The ones i can find on ebay say they are not suitable for my car

Thanks I have enquired about fitment from ebay seller because the ones I've found say they won't fit mine (estate) but will fit the sedan which doesn't make much sense!

It occurs to me that I should search the car before buying one since it might be in there somewhere!

Yeah, could be in a door pocket or glove box, they just pop into place.

I couldn't find the original. the ebay one works just fine and looks OEM
