Hi Everyone

We've possibly lost the main key that has the remote fob

A while ago I remember the other one breaking apart and all that's left is this one (the longer one)

As for the shorter one I don't know what that's for

I've emailed an MB dealer nearby and waiting to see what they say but if anyone has any thoughts please let me know, the car is alarmed and i'm not sure if it's possible to disable it or drive the car using the keys we have?

Without one of the 2 remote fobs pictured below you can’t start the car or disable the alarm… if the alarm is armed, when the car is locked with a remote fob then the alarm is armed, the only way to disarm the alarm is with the remote fob or unplug the alarm siren.

Both metal keys in your picture will unlock the boot and door, it will not disable the alarm… if it is armed.
What car and what year is the car?

If you cannot find the remote fob for the car then your only option is to buy a new one from an MB dealer, the are only about £225.
Does the light on the alarm switch flash like the below?
