Hi all i have just bought a 2004 CLK convertible and just wondered if they come with a standard key to lock unlock glove compartment and center console?
If so can this be purchased as mine seems to have been misplaced at some stage?
    Thanks Tony.

The key blade inside your key should unlock those (as well as the boot & drivers door).

If you have a look at your plastic keyfob / smart key you'll see a chrome loop (where your keyring attaches).

This is actually a key blade and can be removed from your key, slide the tab at the top of the key to release the latch and pull away from the housing.

    A picture may help:

It uses the metal centre section of the main key. Your key will have a tiny ribbed bit that slides up to release the metal centre. This should operate all the manual locks on the car.
