Hi,
At present i am selling a 2001 clk cabriolet auto & a potential buyer tried her out.He said that there was a lack of power on kickdown.I was not sure what he was on about to be honest.I thought that the tiptronic gearbox was to give you that bit extra power when you need it.It just changes through the gears very smoothly not like the "umph"as he said it should do.Any thoughts?

regards

Did he know that to trip the kickdown you have to floor the accelerator past the "click" or did he just think pushing the accelerator faster would trip it?

Hi,
Sorry it's a 320!

MAF sensor may need changing if its lacking power a bit, but to be honest if this is the first one he is trying i would ignore him...

thanx Black C55,

Does the air mass meter need changing then & where is it & what cost.Me no nothing bout engines i'm afaid!!

Phone Euro Car Parts and get a genuine Bosch item.

Expect to pay around £160+ for your car.
