Killer Squirrels on the loose!

If it is true, then it is worrying, a small child is a far softer prey. It would also need a pre-planned ambush!!!! The squirrels would have to have worked together?? Frightening.

We certainly don't have black squirrels but our grey squirrels do not socialise and if one is trying to pinch my bird food it will chase off any other squirrel. I wonder if the witnesses saw it after a few bottles of anti-freeze??

My squirrels have definitely got to go!!!!!

The greys we had in our garden in Sheffield deffo worked together. We could have up to 6 in the garden at any one time and they used to tease the cats something chronic :D

A cat or an air rifle will do the trick. Obviously the air rifle is a more permanent solution. :)

Squirrels are basically fluffy tree rats just like a pigeon is a feathery flying rat. Vermin.

:) I'm deadly accurate with the camera :)

The only annoying habit htey have is pinching the flowering heads of the sunflowers :)

My bird feeders are 100% squirrel proof and I say that after years of experimentation.

That is frightening, looks like squirrels are evolving??

Those black squirrels must have anticipated the route of the dog and all acted as one??? I still cannot get my head round that?? (The dog would easily out run the squirrels)

The Harris hawk is a species that works in unison with its peers.

Behold evolution......

The squirrels at the lock are happy to be together when searching for horse chestnuts on the island......

Fortunately my catapult is happy to socialise with his friends the ball bearings when the squirrels become a problem.....

(it is an offence to discharge an air rifle on the public highway, the river Thames is a public highway hence i have to use a catapult..... ;) )

They are fearsomely tough, i once 'dispatched' one from 6 feet away full on in the chest, catapult at full stretch, only to see it stumble around dazed for about 3 secs and then run off  i was too shocked to even go and stamp on it while it was confused.......

I had a major problem with them in my attic - The end solution involved a neon sign transformer and a pair of cute little copper handrails for them along the top of the wall..

2,500 volts at 1 amp is quite enough to freeze them..
