Mod 6) Complete dashboard Switchgear facelift conversion, including upgrade from Audio 10 to brand new! Audio 20 system:

Mod 6): Trip to COMAND.co.uk to add a couple of options to my car via STAR, sort out audio issues & to clear the SRS error I had caused when facelifting the dash.

Added:
-Tank content (Gallons)
-Temp display on all screens
-Digital speedo with temp display
-Netherlands Setting*


*This strangely appeared by itself when I reconnected the battery a week before.

Wasnt able to add auto/folding mirrors however as my car is too old

Mod 7): Facelift (2005-09) Avantgarde/AMG rear clusters:

A couple of people have asked me what bulbs I use with my LEDs as I dont have Xenon's.

MTEC white H7s:

Fogs are OEM yellow, vast difference eh?

Mod 10) CLK63 AMG Front bumper, with Carbon Fibre wrap central diffuser - I like to do something slightly unique, as far as I know noone else in the UK has done this :

Mod 12) Interior Ambient lighting. (Rear View Mirror & front footwells)

For the base of the Rear View Mirror:

Connected via the A-Pillar/roof lining

Mod 13) OEM Mechanised cup holder - required half the dash to be removed for fitting

Mod 15) Headlight Restoration. Ever since I got the car the plastic lenses on have been yellow and scratched.

By using Megirues Headlight Restoration kit I have returned them back to original shininess: (time taken around 1 hour)

I picked up my W209 CLK 240 (54 plate) last night and already you've got me thinking about some alternatives, nice work!

Which kit exactly, was it the one containing a lacquer to seal the plastic? I need to do my wife's old RAV4 which now has yellow plastic headlights! Thanks
