Knock when turning right...

Noticed this morning a low knocking noise when turning right coming from the drivers side on partial to full lock, any ideas? Driveshaft? It's a kind of knock knock knock then stops?

Is it front or rear? If front then clearly not a driveshaft. If rear it could be the universal joint on the end of the driveshaft.

Take it to a garage you trust for a proper diagnosis.

I have the car booked in for an ATF change next month so will have it done then, just wondering what it is.

It could be a whole number of things. Shock, ball joint, thrust arm bush etc etc.

Still going for ball joint... can you get the car up on axle stands? If so, give the wheel a good tug in all 6 directions... see how much play there is...

I had a quick look around and the only thing that looked loose was a rid at the top of the shock? Links either side?
