Knocking and vibration from the front!

Today while driving the car doing 70mph and alittle over there's a slight knocking and the steering wheel vibration. Seems to be worse the quicker I go. When I got home I jack the car up and there's abit if play when I hold the wheel 12, 6 o clock. When removed the wheel I notice the the bolt that holds the disk in place isn't there and if I grab the centre and twist it spins. And of cause there is movement on the disk! Would this simply cause by the missing secure bolt for disk or something more sinister. The car is a 2003 clk

It won't make any difference if the disc retaining screw is missing as it is held on
by the wheel bolts through it to the hub.possible causes; check anti roll bar bushes for play and lower ball joint,suspension spring/shocker,adjust play out of wheel bearing. have the wheel checked for balance too.
