knocking from front of C22 CDI

Hello and Happy new year to all.
I have just bought a C220 CDI, its a late 2001 Diesel 6 speed manual with 56K. I have a bad knocking noise from the front when going over speed humps, pot holes etc. The dealer has replaced the role bar bushes that has made things betterbut not totally sorted it.. I have heard on the grape vine that there have been some problems with this model. Can anyone help me out with any info please?

Could be you anti roll bar drop links. Known problem with early W203 models, cheap and easy to replace.

Yep, Robbo is right. Do a search on here for W203 models or suspension creaks & groans generally, you'll find plenty about those issues (my C220 suffered similar, and from what I can gather the "fix" isn't that good and the problems are likely to return ).
