Kompressor noise questions

Hi all im new to the forum having only joined yesterday, I have 2001 clk230, the supercharger is making a rattle noise, does anyone know what make and model the supercharger would be ive looked on here and plenty of google searches some say eaton m62 others say different, does anyone know for sure wich one it is, also anyone know what it could be, as theres only really 3 or 4 bearings i would assume one of those is shot or maybe the clutch on the pulley if it has one, Thanks for any advice.

I have a 2001 CLK 230 and had a similar noise, but when i checked it, found that the alternator bearing had collapsed. The alternator sits under the supercharger.

Definitely Eaton M62 and you can buy all the parts you need to refurb separately or buy them in a kit as the link below.

These rebuilds are for the SC with the Electromagnetic clutch only which were the early 230k cars so best check which clutch you have.

Thanks chaps thats great. when i get home ill whip the belt off see how the supercharger altenator and a/c feel see if can figure out what 1 is making the noise.. do any of you chaps know the engine model/code
