Kompressor pulley

Hello i have a 2004 mb c180 kompressor and i had a few friends telling me i should change the pulley on the kompressor for a smaller one for more power. I was just wondering if its as easy and as straight forward as that or is there more to it to make it work and is it expensive. Thank you

Not on the M271 engine you shouldn’t buddy , save your money for timing chain issues
