I enjoyed my day out at this event today. It's pretty much on my doorstep, but the first year I've made it.

I hope you like the pics.

I went yesterday, managed to get a superb place to watch, a couple of cars lengths before the start.

I meant to go to this having seen it advertised at the Princess Risborough railway last w/e.

I've wanted to go the last few years, but this is the first year I've noticed the signs before the event.

One for the calendar though, I was suitably impressed. The event had a nice scale and feel to it. The paddock area and trade stalls were good and the hill easy to spectate.

Can you get properly close to the action. Goodwood FOS bores me because you are so isolated from the cars when they are moving.

Right by it.

I alas was tied up both days this weekend and missed it. Next year.

You are close enough to it, just a hedge between you and the cars.

The runs are not competetive and some of the cars/bikes not exactly spritley which probably accounts for it being permissable.

Spectating the hill was good, but it would have been a little dissapointing had it not been for the paddock and supporting displays etc.

I didn't see any way to spectate further up the hill, so next time I'm in Risborough I'll take a run up, as it's a public road.

I'll try and arrange for the JZR club to go en masse next year, although they're a bit too purist to allow kit cars to do the run, I believe,

I walked up to the end of the path which was much sooner than I thought, not that far into the wood.

I too am curious if spectating the finish side was possible or not.

I bet that road has more traffic than usual this week :D

I suppose you must be able to spectate at the top, though not part of the "showground", as the return route to the paddock is via the town.

I had waves from various returning entrants as I made my way home in the JZR.

There's no spectator access at the top of the hill but last year they extended access further up the hill into the trees

Is there good viewing at Prescott hill climb.
I keep missing La Vie en Bleu, but intend to attend next year.

I think the winding track makes it better for spectators.

I've been there the last three years and I must say that it's a wonderfully well-organised yet "casual" feeling event. Very easy access to all the cars and bikes in the paddock, and some good viewing spots on the hill.

Saturday was a bit cold and miserable weather-wise this year, but other than that it was great.
