Kwik Fit - Orpington

Took the old girl to Kwik Fit today to take advantage of their oil change offer (£45.00 for oil & filter change).

Was a bit wary as i haven't had the greatest experience of using them in the past, however, i was glad i did as the fella who did the work was a Merc fan who had a 500 SEL (W126) and said mine was the best motor he'd driven all week!

Anyways, they had the wrong filter in but found one elsewhere which was driven over by cab! Also topped up my coolant and let me take the remainder of the oil as well.

All in all was well pleased!

Lucky, i've had bad experiences there too. That one sounds ok though. Is that £45 for any car oil change?

The price is 'from' £35 & the maximum charge is £55 which is for specialist oil. The chap there said my car was listed as having 5w 40 oil, but actually asked what oil it was that I used as he said he will use that instead.
