Hi all,
I will go to a service with star, however just wanted to get some advice in advance.
my 2004 ML270cdi sometimes cannot go over 2000 rpm. That is frustrating because when I need to accelerate it happens very slow. The point is it does not happen all the time. I do not know am I imaging it but when I fill the tank full it goes better. I have tried several times to add anti-water additives to the fuel.
And sometime if it happens on a hill the car just slows down and basically depending on a hill, because I cannot go over 2000 rpm I am basically crawling with 40 mph. No grunt at all.
Last year it has happen on my way to Spain on a steep mountain hill highway and it was a pain, I was overtaken by HGVs doing 50 mph
Any ideas guys?
