Hi,

I know it's been already mentioned before but too many solutions were also said which makes me confused.
Some time ago my car started to be very slow, doesn't react on kick down like before so I took the car to local garage, we connect the car to the diagnostic tool and get code P0410 only, I had P0410 and P2036 in torque by the way. they started to replace parts, Air injection valve first, doesn't help, Air recirculating flap, doesn't help, already cost me £500 with labour, they've contact some diagnostic team which they had in case of lack of knowledge, they came up with wiring looms for Air recirculating which cost £350 from Mercedes, they can't promise this will help and I'm not the kind of guy that like to spend the money for nothing. Is it the only solution to replace wiring to get it fixed ? Is there anything else apart from that which could be worth checking ? They've said everything has been checked and that's the only thing they will replace, I can't even imagine what if that won't help, my wallet will be thicker for another few hundreds. Any ideas guys ? Appreciate

Take the car to someone with the right diagnostic equipment and the necessary experience to use it correctly. An MB specialist rather than 'any old garage' is your best bet.

^^ As above, get it to a garage that has STAR and more importantly knows how to use it.

Thanks guys, that's enough for me to take it to the MB garage. I need to wait until I get the engine light on the dash. I'll let you know once solved :)
