Do you still have to pay anything Chris or is that the end of it?!

I worked in the bailiff industry for 12 years and it was a criminal offence if a clamped vehicle had the clamp removed. However, you act on a warrant if the debt relates to a parking fine and a liability order for Council Tax/Rates. No idea how the law side of it works via the DVLA.

Oh well, on the positive side you can at least put the cash to your other Merc

may be a case of back taxes however will argue that till i die have council tax argument going from 8years ago so this can be addid also lol
