I also doubt the driver got away with saying he was only doing 30... given the amount of views its had !!

Complete idiot, saw this a while ago. You can hear from the video he manages to get into 3rd gear... Well in excess of 60 I would reckon? And the muppet manages to hit a lamp post on a straight road. Prat.

I have seen the CCTV of a recent fatal accident where a pedestrian was hit at a lower speed than that and flew a very long way. Very nasty.
