Lambo vs SLR Top Gear shoot

Hey all,

Well, at 5am this morning, Abu Dhabi Police closed the Corniche Road (the main arterial road through Abu Dhabi) so the Top Gear team could drag race the SLR 722 and Lambourghini Murcielago SV through the centre of town. It was great to see the 722 whip the Lambo time after time... at over 200 mph.

I was invited as technical support for SLR, and got to meet Hammond and THE STIG! It was really interesting to see how it's filmed.

The SL65 BE turned up and was run a few times but not against the other two vehicles, which was a shame.

In all, a pretty good Friday morning. As usual I have provided some dreadful pictures!

That would be in Weybridge then, Mclaren is in Woking.
