Landrover Freelander TD4 (new model) - Any issues I should know about?

I work for Ford and get a healthy discount on them (Ford own Landrover), so I bought a new TD4 Serengeti about 2 years ago. There were no major problems, and just minor niggles like squeeky seats etc. Watch out for the rear window fault mentioned earlier as its a common problem. Also, be prepared for the fact that they dont go, dont stop, and dont go around corners:eek: .

The Brother in law has an x plate td model, the diff is wining like a goodun an its only got 40k on it! We we surpirsed at how tiny the boot was as how "1990 Rover 214" the interior is........

 And the E-class gets all the bad publicity..... You cannot be serious?? :D

This topic has certainly been a real eye opener, but I do accept that there must be at least one Freelander out there that is faultless???

Yes, the one that hasn't been sold yet..... ;)

Crikey has this thread been resurrected? :)

Update:

We bought one, ran it for 6 months and sold it on :p

No problems with it apart from being really sluggish setting off

Got an X3 for the missus instead - much better ;)
