Landscaping fabric, which grade?

A job still outstanding is to place landscaping fabric between and around two large raised vegetable beds, the plan is to then cover the fabric with bark chippings.

Any recommendations as to the grade required and any hints and tips would be welcome. In addition if anyone can suggest a good supplier of chippings and / or top soil in Wiltshire that would also be most helpful!

I've used Plantex twice now, and them there weeds are still at bay. I recall it got some decent reviews too.
