Can anyone tell me which was the largest capacity normally aspirated (ie non-turbo) W202 C Class and prev shape E Class - in petrol and in diesel.

Cheers

:bannana:

W202 2.5L diesel & 4.3L petrol are the biggest I know of.
W210 2.5L diesel & 7.3 V12 Brabus.

Which one are you giving way as the prize ? :bannana: :D

There was a 3.2L W210 - E320 CDI

Just read the question again  The main part - normally aspirated - ie non turbo.
So PJH is probably correct ;)

No Delete option either - lol

W202 - 5.5L (as in C55 AMG, although not many around) - Petrol
W202 - 2.5L Diesel
W210 - Same as above, unless you count the Brabus that PJH mentioned (not a production car, nor sold by mercedes - any car could be coverted to what you like with the £££s!) but otherwise 5.5L petrol E55 AMG and E250 Diesel.

Cheers,

Will

brabus did a 6.0 v8 petrol W202 in case youre counting them

Has everyone forgotten about the w210 E300D? That was a 3 litre diesel. I think they got rid of it in 1997 during the minor facelifts.

Could be, I thought all W210 E300s were Turbos. Maybe not.

Lets not forget the custom built AMG C55 W202 (only 30 or so around). Based on the C43 with a new motor and AMG specifications.

But does that make it 5.5L ? Does this variant qualify ?

1995-1997 W210 E300D has a 136bhp 2996cc NA diesel engine. That must be one slow car! :)
