Guys

Do any of you know what is the largest wheel size I can go up to before I need to carry out any additional work on the car (2008 CLS 320) ?

Thanks in advance

There's a set of wheels made by Carlos Fandango , should go on no problem :thumb:

Sure I saw a member with 20" staggered alloys on his CLS55

Personally I wouldn't go above 19's and check the ET before you buy anything.

Hi,
I have 20's on my CLS 55 and I am replacing them for 19's, main reason is I prefer the look of the 19' AMG wheels, and I find the ride to hard with them.
If you like them they will be for sale in a few weeks.
Pic of my car on 20's so you can see how they look on a CLS, but be aware that the tyres in the pic are one profile higher than they should be eg. 30 profile on rear instead of 25 and 35 profile instead of 30 on the front IIRC, they are staggered, 10' wide on rear, not 100% but I,m sure the fronts are 9' wide.
Looking at the pics again, they do look nice though.

I do like the style mate but I'm not a lover of black wheels to be honest (sorry) !

Thanks for your responses chaps

On a non AMG me personally wouldn't go bigger than 19's otherwise your brakes will look like cats saucers with tiny calipers! I went down oem AMG IV'S 18's staggered set up 285/35/18 101y 9.5j rear and 255/40/18 99y 8.5j on the front, for me a nice look plus with airmatic they fill the arches nicely.

Not any decent ones as the car is sat in my garage and I haven't really used it for a couple months .. One tiny pic which doesn't show much in my profile pic!

315/25r23 pimp my ride

Anyone wanting to pimp their ML look no further, I have the tyres but you will need the wheels !
Snafu

I have 20's on mine, 10.5j rears and 9.5j fronts. The profile is 25/30 respectively and I have no issues. Running 10mm hubcentric spacers at the rear as well for a better stance. You will compromise the ride from 19's esp if you don't have airmatic!
