Last minute gift? iPad Mini £219 @ Waitrose

Just thought I'd share this - might be just the job if you're struggling for last minute gifts or looking for a good deal on iPads.

I was doing the Christmas grocery shopping in Waitrose earlier this evening and noticed iPad Mini Wi-Fi 16GB for £219.

Please note, it's not the retina display version but the original Mini - but still same size and weight, etc

It seemed like a bargain and I couldn't get a 3G signal to check online so I grabbed one. A quick Googlage when I got home suggests £249 is the going rate and anything close to £200 is refurbished, so it seems good value.

They even gave me a £5 gift voucher and a free coffee because I had to wait a while so they could get one from the cash office.

I'd already got her an iPhone 5S for Christmas so I'm hoping she's not all Appled out by the time she get's to the phone!!

Must have been a pre-Christmas offer as the John Lewis price has been £249 since Christmas Day.
