Hi is there any way of launching a c200k auto other than putting my foot down? It seems pretty damn slow off the line!!

Try left foot on the brake pedal, hit the gas so the wheels spin, jump of the brake if your trying to do a 0-60mph timed sprint. Its not really a hooligans car though and really shouldn't be driven like that.

It should be fine in its mid range I would have though, although the diesel will be better still. For 99% of your driving I can't imagine it being sluggish.

I'll try the left foot trick but the sprint booster sounds very interesting!!

If i decide to install the kleeman kit can i still keep the sprint booster?

how does the sprint booster work...

Thanks for answering all my questions guys

sprint booster basically takes out the lag from when you hit the pedal to when the engine actually responds... neat bit of kit that is hugely popular.. havent read one bad review..

sounds too good to be true hey!

I've read up on it now and defo going to save up and get one ASAP :)

i take it this should make it a bit quicker off the line?

As said it alters the feel of the car, it does take time to push the pedal down to the floor as it stands, the car is not quicker in turms of engine power, it just is more lively for no or little pedal movement.

When I first drove the SL on dem, it did not feel to be 5 liters

It helps to release the parking brake ... :D
