As per title what can I say...

Anyone have experience/recommendations for wood preserve sprayers? Fences, sheds etc...

My wife thinks it's hilarious I spend hours buffing the car but won't get out a brush!!:dk:

Quick, convenient but ultimately a waste of time/product. It doesn't last as well as brush applied preserver. You can't work it into the grain, you can (should) only spray on very still, windless days.

PPE is also highly recommended ;)

I have a very long discharge hose on my compressor and use the "paraffin gun" from the kit of air tools - holds about 2 pints of jollop. Set the compressor at 40psi for thin stuff, 60ish for thicker, and make sure you stand upwind of the nozzle! Blasts the stuff into the wood, far less wastage than with a brush, lasts years (did the main fence here 7 years ago, only now thinking about re-doing it).

The hand pump thing you can buy in B&Q etc is useless!
