Whos going then?

Im off on wednesday 13th June to camp in preperation for the race on the 16th/17th then im coming back on Monday 18th,

I already have a convoy, a guy from work and his mates, im taking the SEC, would be nice to see a few more mercs......

Yep - Maison Blanc parking/stands per usual - celebrating a decade of attending.

Down on Friday, back Monday (my B'day ) - currently deciding between doing the trip in the CL or an S Type.

Yup I am going, will be my 10th year (I think).

I suggest we all meet at the Pistonheads meet at Arnage on the Friday mid morning. Some nice cars down there. Only time I have ever been looking at an F40 when another one drives past

Oh ian, Alexgoss.com just got me in the mood for Le Mans, bet your neighbours loved you on car prep day with all that horse power and noise in your back yard!!!

As to pistonheads meet thats a good plan, will get hold of my lot and see what they are doing on the friday morning

Digging up an old thread !
A week today until our departure. Stopping near Ashford on Wednesday night. Tunnel early on Thursday.
Camping in Technoparc and watching from Dunlop again.

We are sailing 8am wednesday morning and cruising down, I will probably just unbolt my exhaust and attach a straight through pipe so I will be easy to spot, see http://www.marktheengineer.com/project_sec.html for a picture of the beast,

we are staying in the Beausejour campsite apparently, we should be near drinking for holland, we all have t-shirts which have a Le Mans logo on the front which looks like a Top Gun logo, I have Spazza plastered across the back of mine and I will be drunk all weekend,

we too will be stickering up the car, pics when this is done....

P.S. Writing this from W124Works (the Norths' premier motoring garage). All could be well with the car after new oil in the diff...Will keep you posted.

apologies to all of you this may annoy but this is what the guy organising out Le Mans trip has sorted out;

1) the trailer itself is all modified with shiney blue paint polished and going to be waxed. The drawers in the back have been removed to allow for extra fridges and freezers for those nice cold beers.

2) The stage is planned and the steel and wood on order to build tom. The stage will be 2.4 x 2.4 m square. We have a drum kit, a pa system, stage lights and a stage door.

3) There will be perimeter fencing all the way round, and the entrance will now consist of saloon type cowboy doors will a dunlop till dawn banner accros the top.

4) The 6m, yes 6m flag pole will have a mother fu**ing strobe light on top to allow not just us, but everyone to see where our camp site is.

so you cant miss it then.......
