Lead time for new C class , 5 months!!!!

I almost plumped for a new Skoda Superb, but after looking at a Skoda forum it seems lack of communication and long lead times are still order of the day it seems.

Sadly yes, some very good cars let down by Skoda UK seemingly unable to organise a piss up in a brewery. You'd have hoped they had learnt from the VRS fiasco but it seems not.

I went in to my dealer to order a new C250 , told me would be 3 months ( 1 year ago )they had an unregistered C300 hybrid in showroom , the discount offered and part exchange deal made it an offer i could not refuse . 3 days later drove out with new car. I reckon its worth looking at whats in stock and pre registered as they like to move stock quick !

Just had an update that my car has been brought forward to mid-June. Unfortunately trying to get information from the lease company is tough. Don't even know when the car is being built.

I believe all estates, at least for UK market, are assembled in Bremen.

Mine was built Dec 2014 and at the dealer with around 10 days later I believe.

So had a call from Mercedes today and my C220d AMG Prem+ Diamond Silver has arrived in the UK and delivery confirmed for 10th June - 7 month wait is nearly over !

Wow! Can't believe some of the times you lot have waited for a car!

I ordered mine and it was ready about 10 days later lol

I had cause to moan though as I ordered two cars and only one arrived on time, was told a 5 day wait for the other one.

Difference is, I spent a whole day in the dealership with the salesman searching through cars they already had built until I found one I liked

You are correct. Some saloon production is in Bremen now too

Mine is now due at dealer 13th June and then delivered to me asap after that. So all in all a rather long wait from the 28th October order date with the broker.
