After nearly 9 months of waiting delivery of my Hyacinth Designo Red C200 amg line premium will finally be with us next Tuesday. Its been so long since the test drive almost forgotten what its like to drive. Will be sad to see my octavia vrs go as its been an exceptional servant and has done all i have asked of it.
One question to the knowledgeable crew on here is a service plan worth it for a new car would be paying up front for the 3 year plan so all in around £1260 for the first 3 years.
So looking forward to the car turning up.

Works out to £35pcm, I only pay £29pcm for mine. W205 C250d

The prices have been increased recently. I would go for the plan personally because it definitely saves you money

Just been quoted over £600 for the 4th service on a W204 C250 CDI.

That's literally daylight robbery.

Granted it's a brake fluid change and fuel and air filter over and above a 'standard' service but silly money for what is essentially dropping fluids and changing filters.

Complete pee take!

My C350e was supposedly ordered in Jan through Lex and I was advised of an August delivery date, its suddenly been put back to November 15th claiming 'part shortages'. Anyone seeing the same issues?

My C350e was ordered through Pendragon in early Feb - was built late June and is due for delivery next week. That much of a date change sounds fishy to me!

My car was also ordered through lex(too good a deal to turn down) original delivery date was March 1st and eventual delivery July 12th. Perhaps lex are having a problem with lex.

Touch wood... it's not the 12th yet! :(

Finally, my C350e in brilliant blue, premium plus and night package is being delivered on Friday. Been using a Volvo S60 1.6 petrol 150bhp and averaging 36mpg so looking forward to the not so dismal mpg from the Merc and the power.

Even bigger "pee take" knowing they will probably not do it.... I'm on the service plan and just had B done, oil filter cover as dusty as before service... :dk:

Sorry for OT.

Lead times just seem to be getting longer.

I was lucky when i ordered my 15 reg c class, as i ordered just the basic spec took 3 months to come from South Africa. dealer did tell me that when you spec the premium pack to get the sunroof it's quite often that the factory runs out of parts for the roof and causes delays.

I hit on really lucky with my GLC ordered it on the 27th July and collected it 15th September, bought from Sytner Newcastle on ordering they managed to bag me exactly the same spec i was looking for, it was destined for a Sytner dealership down south, If i had to wait for a factory order they where telling me possible delivery February 2017. So always worth a look to see what they have coming in to network stock. Sold my C Class on autotrader and got 2k more than merc offered for it.
