Hi all

CLK 320 2003 cab

I have a small pool of wet on the garage floor around the N/S front tyre. Not oil looks like washer fluid.
It’s dripping off the front of the lip on the front of the wheel arch.
The washer bottle is directly above this so I am assuming it is from here.
Anyone else had this issue ?
Looks a pig to get at and remove !

Yep it’s coming from the washer bottle
Further investigation I removed the panel under the washer bottle abduct seems to be coming from the assembly that is the headlight washer

anyone ever removed one of these?
Any hints gratefully received

thanks

It would be a bumper off, then headlight off job to investigate.

If it’s like the E Class, the headlight washer is attached to the underside of the headlight, hence removal required.

It’s a drip of about a tea spoon an hour so I guess I will put up with it until it gets worse

it’s really difficult to see exactly where it’s coming from even with the lower trim panel off

On further investigation today the drip is coming from the bottom of the headlamp washer jet where the hose connects to the jet body

wonder if some silicone sealant around it will do the trick
