Thanks, what you propose seems logical although I am a fan of Leather Balsam which seems to keep things looking and feeling better than when I don't bother.It's not worth treating any car seat leather, it's all pigmented and sealed with polyurethane, so doesn't absorb the goo you waste your money on.
A damp flannel is all you need.
