Hello:thumb:
Had my new sofa delivered yesterday and wondered what you guys would recommend to keep it protected, supple and looking good. I know there are a hundred products out there but does any one have any good experiences or can recommend a particular one?

It's a dark brown semi-aniline leather. TIA

Go back to the company who sold you the furniture to recommend how to look after your furniture.
Most aftercare products for leather are more suited for use on Bicast or corrected grain leathers (also known as sealed or coated leather.)
Semi- aniline and full -aniline leather need specialist products to keep your warranty valid,
I used to be in charge of service for a large furniture retailer.

Thanks Bi-Fold. I bought it from Furniture Village and they only really do the Guardsman range. Obviously I declined the 'rip-off' 5 year protection, but they include the Guardsman range, which they say to use the Guardsman leather cleaner and leather protector on all thier leathers. Is this not the right stuff for semi-aniline?

Its not ideal the Guardsman range of products for semi aniline, the company that Noodle-pulp has kindly posted is as good as it gets in the UK.
I once did a service call on a semi - aniline corner group, the owner was a plumber who got one of his young male employees to house sit whilst he went on holiday.
The young chap invited his girl friend to stay with him,she brought some baby oil with her, enougth said.
Lucky the plumber had acidental cover on his house insurance and it was treated as a acidental spillage and the insurance company picked up the bill.
So make sure you have acidental cover on your home insurance and a care product from the site posted and with dark brown you wont go far wrong.

i use saddle soap on the interior of the mercedes, pajero and furniture at home, i find that it cleans and protects and feeds the leather keeping it very soft and supple, after all it's been used for many years by the "horse and pony" set and it's dead easy to apply too
