Leather Cleaning Kits - Sand/Canvas Colour Leather

Hi All,

After a decent cleaning kit and some on Amazon seem hit and miss or lighten and dye the colour of the seat!

I have a dark beige/sand/canvas colour in my ML and after a gentle cleaner and protector, but do not want it to bleach or change the colour.

Has any members found a decent cleaning kit for their leather cars?

No change in colour?

Apart from the obvious colour difference from the removal of dirt and other contamination I've not seen any colour change.
Ther's a short demo video on the Clay Cloth Companies web site that should reassure you on this point.

You do realise that since around 1997, most car leather is coated with a vinyl paint & all it needs is wiped with a mild soapy solution or damp cloth. Almost everything else is a complete waste of time & money.

If your 3 piece suite was bought before 1997 it might benefit, otherwise it's coloured with vinyl paint too.
