I have a 2003 E320 (W211) with half leather seats. They have worn well but the bolsters on the drivers seat are starting to show signs of the 135,000 of ar$e sat on them.

I am looking to re-colour the bolsters but I have no idea what the name of the colour is that I have assuming it even has a colour for the leather. I didn't want to just aim for a kit that looks grey as I don't want to mismatch with the rest of the seat(s).

Is there a way to find out a colour name or code for the leather colour in my car?

By using EPC and your VIN one can pull up the colour code for the seat covering in the part's footnote.

Thanks mate.

I completely forgot I had a copy of my VIN photographed on my phone. Used DataMB.com and got the colour!

"FABRIC, AVANTGARDE - BLACK / ANTHRACITE (731A)"

Now to look for a colour and see if I can improve the finish. :)

Trim colours are usually prefixed with ES2

colourlock.co.uk. have various products in MB colours for leather. Used it on my steering wheel. Really easy and a great finish
