Leather dashboard

I was looking at a few cars recently and noticed how much better the cars with leather dashboards look.

Was a leather dashboard available on the W211 E-class or can the be fitted by a competent upholstery company.

Finally, any idea what the costs may be and what parts of the interior would normally get covered in leather.

d:class offered to cover my dash in leather. Big job, when done properly, as the dash needs to be dismantled (vents out etc..).

Yes, a leather dash was available as an option on the W211. I remember coming across a nice S211 with almost everything on it, AMG kit, designo two tone leather and leather dash.

As you say it really sets of the interior and looks far more expensive / high quality...
