Leather interior - group buy

How many people would be interested to change / upgrade to , leather interior. If more then 3 I'd asume that there would be nice discount for everyone.

yes possibly for my 123, but funds limited. The best quote i got was £899 and this was from company recommended on here a while back..

These are the results so far

Kelenco - the guys that have done one of the SL's here (gray - blue duotone) - no longer exist, but another company that does the same (on the same phone number will do it for 1200 + VAT

Shaeffino leathers - kit install - 899 + VAT - Not bad looking ( images on their web site ) - duotone same price.

Auto trim - 1300 + Vat

Guy from ebay - kit install - trans-something-interiors - 899 (cash no invoice no vat)

Cass Bros' - bespoke (not kit) - 1300 + Vat - willing to talk discounts for more then 3 cars.

Thats what I've got so far. Anyone have more ideas let me know.

I assume this is TrimStar. They gave me a quote earlier this year for £895 for a mobile visit or £850 if you go to their premises. Don't know anything about the quality of their work though.

Cass Bros are near me in Bromley. I have used them a few times for leather reconnollising and to trim a new seat on my motorbike (I think they also fitted a new seat cover to my BMW). Very competent and not very expensive. It does surprise me that their quote is as much as that.

Well the guy sounded knowledgeable on the phone and asked all kindof very interesting (I'm so easily blinded by science) questions. But if they are close to you , and you have time , maybe would be good to go there. I find that when you get somewhere you are usually able to negotiate better prices then on the phone.

For those of you like me in the North West, these guys are recommended, but I've never used them, they quoted me £990 plus vat and you get sets, headrests and door cards done in that price

Is the trans something transcal by any chance?

www.transcal.co.uk they are in Scotland and the quality is second to none up to and beyond Mercedes OE quality.

Guy seems to be very helpfull. He is sending swatches. Normal price is 995+vat, and that also include duo-tone, contrast stitching and all the other ones. He insists that they use original Mercedes leather, and will talk to boss for discount on 5 - 7 cars.
