hi all, recently purchased a e300td with full leather interior, i can't say that its 'bad' as leather goes, but it does need a slight clean, as does the general interior door panels etc..

can anyone let me know if there is a 'best' leather cleaner on the market for reasonable money, i would also want something to care for the same and keep it in top condition.

also i do have a slight scuffing and staining on the steering wheel, how can i remove this and get it back to somewhere near 'wonderful'..:thumb:

i am getting approx' 29 miles per gallon round town, is this ruffly correct or do you think it can be improved by a full service and tune up..
she runs fantastically, she purrs infact.

i've been waiting for years to get one of these cars as i have always had vans for my work so have never needed a car, so you may understand that now i have this beautiful car, i want to get it somewhere near 99%

I would recommend Gliptone Liquid leather. There is a cleaner and also a conditioner. They both work very well and the conditioner leaves the leather smelling like new :)

You will get alot of different but all good opinions..;)

I personally use Sonus stuff. Very good IMHO. Like the matte finish it leaves on the leather. For my dads older alfa with shiny interior we use xymol which is also quite good.

You should get a bit more than 29 mpg with new air and diesel filters , but sounds about right with lots of stopping and starting I suppose . Long winded way of saying not poor enough economy to think theres anything wrong . Dont scrub that steering wheel the paint will come off!
