Hi
I recently bought E220 W212 2012. I bought a pair of LED front parking lights from Halfords. I keep getting error messages about both. Please advice, if it is possible to delete the message?
Is there a website where I can buy error free LEDs.

I've tried many types of LED's in the side and parking lights of my S204 (C class estate), canbus error free so no error messages on the dash - but I think because the enclosures that the bulbs sit in are small, all have failed fairly quickly, I suspect by overheating. They're such a PITA to change I gave up and went back to ordinary bulbs - which last well!!

@Chrishazle,
I actually went to Halfords today, explained the issue. There is a guy working there which I know for fact he is quite knowledgable. He advised to use a 12V resistor which they have on the shelf. I read about them online and I'm not sure if they will generate extra heat in the light unit itself. He said I can return the bulbs and the resistors if I keep having the error.
I will try them and post an update.
thanks

The LED's you have bought are not "canbus error free", those have the resistor already built in so the car sees the bulb drawing the same current as a filament bulb. Adding a separate resistor will indeed fool the car into thinking you have a filament bulb, hence no error message, but it's just more hassle fitting it. If you must try LED's, get your money back from Halfords then search online for W5W canbus error free LED's!

so I did return the LEDs and resistors. Got 2 ordinary blue bulbs, back to Normal. thank you guys
