Hi,

I am looking for a left hand drive vehicle. Mostly interested in a 210 estate or a V class but would consider any large saloon.

Also looking for a van, large 3500kg.

Would be prepared to travel for the right vehicle.

thanks

I can't PM you as you have too few posts but if you are looking for RHD van I can help as I am selling my 3500kg Sprinter (the only LHD I have is a Fiat Barchetta so not much use to you!).

Hi,

Sorry for late reply. I was moving house and had no internet access for a while. I didn’t realise the situation re the PM’s so I will PM an email address now.

Dougal74, it turns out that I need a big Luton body Sprinter type of van. If your fits the bill let me know some details please.

Sidmon, can you let me know some details of the 210.

Thanks to both

Edit, there is no option for me to PM either of you, maybe because I have too few posts. Perhaps you both could post details here. thanks

Autofix, I will shortly have for sale a 1996 W210 E420 Estate. 275BHP 4.2 V8 engined 7 seat avantgarde estate automatic LHD. She's got about 125K on her and was imported to England in May 2007 and I have all relevant paperwork including the old German Log Book. Comes in a very dark green metallic (looks black unless you get your magnifiying glass out!). Full spec so Full Black Leather Interior with Electric heated memory seats, windows, mirrors, sunroof, Climate Controlled Air Conditioning, alloy wheels (currently sitting on winter tyres), remote locking, Variable PAS with Wooden Steering Wheel, BOSE Sound System with 6 CD Changer.

All in all a rare old beast as they never sold the E420 in England (but fear not as Mercedes Dealers and Specialists are still able to sell you parts!).

Is that using the old 4.2 L from the w126 / 140 as opposed to the 4.3 L in the CLK / E / S ?

They sold a w210 E430 over here ...

Hi Sidmon,

While I am a fan of Merc V8’s I am not sure one fits the bill in this case, but its possible. I have a few questions for you, probably better done by email. I have found your email on another thread and so will send you one now.

thanks

Not sure it's the correct one as I've recently changed. email me on:

simonQWERTYkilby1 AT googlemail.com

Take the word QWERTY out to get my correct email (so I avoid Spam!)

Regards

Simon
