Left mirror signal error on dash

Hie recently when I flipped the indicator to turn left the left mirror signal error with a bulb and the indicator started flashing fast. This is a w205 c class are theses easily replaceable can I diy it or need to take it to a garage

Hello Mercfan I have the same problem with my B class W245. 2 members got back to me and said that it could the wiring in the mirror that may have freyed because thats what had happened to his and when repaired the wires it fixed his problem.and the other one said he had fixed his by cleaning the contacts on the wiring. I haven't tried either yet because I'm moving house and have a lot of work on at the moment. You are going to have to strip down the mirror try looking on Youtube for help on how to do it.
