I haven't received a definitive answer on whether the left hand drive and right hand drive AMG designed tubular headers differ from one another.
I realize that the OE Cast Iron Tri-Y manifolds are in fact different. The OE Tri-y cast iron manifold design is routed around the steering box.
The AMG headers do not straddle the steering box but are directed straight back over the bellhousing. Also, the firing order did not change so the initial Y configurations would remain the same as well. Any other obstacles that differ?
Anyone know with absolute certainty that AMG produced a different design tubular header for the LHD and RHD markets? Thanks in advance.
