Lifting wiper blade from screen.

When washing my car I sometimes lift the wiper blade up until it clicks and stays up off the screen by a few inches.

But to get it down again I have to force it which I dont like doing. Is there a correct way of lowering it back onto the screen?

A little pressure is required to revert the wiper from it's lifted park position, but I wouldn't describe it as forcing.

Hi Greg,

You summed it up with the word "clonk". It clicks up but you have to clonk it back down.

Just seems weird to have to clonk it down.
