Light doesnt flash when cars armed & Rear courtesy light remains on

I just put plastice bag behind the window regulator so water doesnt go int it anymore & reset the battery so all windows are working again. But when i press the remote on my car to lock/arm my car the light used to flash 3 times. I also noticed:

* the rear courtesy light remains on all the time so had to disconnect the bulb.

* the windows dont go up & down via remote

When you put the door card back on, did you put the small plastic strike plate at the door lock back on?
This plastic strike (secured by one screw) plate pushes the door pin inwards when the door is shut, if it isn’t present the rear internal light will stay on and confuse the alarm into thinking that a door is open.

This might explain why car the light don’t flash 3 times now.

Dec, Your the man!! put the thing on & it worked just fine. so i re-connected the rear courtesy light again
