Limit of E55K injectors

I'm on a 83mm pulley which i think is a happy medium, Power and long term reliability as the e55k's are getting on abit.

I was also told with a 77mm the power can be quite snatchy on take up and give surging issues at low rpm, But i suppose a decent map may sort that out.

Im happy with brutus but i would like a pair of c63 rear box's as the Power flow's currently fitted are to noisy for me.

I have the upgraded pump already (newer Bosch). the H/E is the same as Merc85, his just about fits so I have no doubt that this will up to the job.

It is amazing in some ways. Of all of the performance cars I have had in the past I have never had to worry about intake temps getting too high. What would you recommend? I don't tend to give the car stick all of the time, but obviously it would be nice to be able to give it a few blasts on the local NSL dual carriage way etc, otherwise what is the point? If the engine is too hot more often than not, then how are we meant to use its performance?

Split cooling is an option, but looking at what is out there seems to be quite expensive for what you get. I am surprised that Meth was disregarded seeing as how it has very good cooling properties and doesn't need to be used as a fuel. It can be triggered at a set boost threshold as well.

Speak to Acid he will advise you best on all of it. Like i said i have run my 77mm pulley and headers, for a couple of years now, all good. :thumb:

None of them had a supercharger. Just a guess ;-)

Put it this way, the new Camaro ZL1 (supercharged, 650bhp) has 11 heat exchangers. Eleven.

Yeah, the E55 is the first supercharged car I have had. I have had several turbocharged cars though. My next car will be a turbo V8.

Is there a need to uprate the cooling for the G/box when all the mods for the engine are being done?

I have a set of Weistec 650cc injectors if anyone is thinking of upgrading. These come standard with their blower.

3k miles on the injectors. £300 delivered next day in the UK for the set of 8.
