Got error code for turbo actuator on e320 and have just replaced actuator but still same problem, vanes move freely, only goes into limp mode within 1st minute of start up in morning generally then ok rest of day, anyone any ideas? Thanks

Have you changed the overboost switch?

This detects when the actuator gets too much boost or is faulty.
It causes the car to go into limp mode as it detects a fault.

I would change this as it should cure your problem.

Will that give the fault code for the actuator? Where would I find it, thanks

Yes as it is the only thing that detects faults with the actuator.
Switch will be throwing fault codes as it is at fault not the actuator.

It is found on the manifold.

Aren't the actuators matched to the turbo during manufacturer and therefore changing them means they are not matched so would throw an error. You can get replacement electric motors and gears for them, but not the main circuit board.
