Limp mode problem

My neighbour has a sprinter camper van, everytime he tries to use the radio it goes into limp mode. He has had it on a diagnostic machine and no faults showed. Has anyone had this happen? Thanks for any info.

thats the strangest thing I have ever heard. I would guess there is some kind of major power drain from the radio, dropping the battery voltage causing the issue. I would guess a replacement radio is what's needed..?
