Limp mode

These are all the files I have compiled in getting to a solution for my problem.....I will attempt in morning and let people know what happens...I am sure the shaft is in wrong place..cause all I did was remove the shifter,,and upon replacement limp mode...there are 3 different limp modes w202 can go into...
 
Well my phone is not allowing me to upload when I get to PC,I will upload...there are a few adjustments needed after putting shifter back on....that will cause limp mode...hopefully it will be ok tomorrow,been expensive driving around in 2nd gear, every where...
 
What do u mean by engine mounts??
after talking the transmission pdf cover to cover...it is deffo a electrical fault...because limp mode in gear 3=.mechanical issue.limp mode in 2nd gear = electrical fault....I am in second
 
do you want a known good gear shifter module - the box with the lever in in and prnd4321? you can have it for free, but its missing the little cover that stops sweets / coins going in the mechanism, so I replaced it. I might ask for postage to be covered.
 
Wow that's nice of u ...I already bought a replacement with no luck so it's nit gear shifter I have 2 good shifters just don't know what's happening in between
 
Might take u up on offer of working shifter maybe the 1i bought WAs a dudd...i can't solve this...how can we go forward??

yes. It resets everything - and reads everything, and has the option of re-coding like STAR - but it has little to no backup so things like coding are not easy.

I have read and reset codes on windows, airbags, engines, aircon, etc etc with it on both a 202 and a 210

oh - and you owe me 77p for postage ;) LOL
 
Thought I would update...
Today after almost 3/4 months of grief I found a solution
Transmission shifter was not the problem ...it was k40. a burnt connection..I jumped the connection with a wire ..and boom all solved no more limp mode

so I am happy...I know the shifter inside out went through 3 ...now all 3 work...any one need shifter?
