Hello all.
My 2004 E class 220 cdi has gone into limp mode.
The only code I have is 2513-000 which suggests swirl flap motor problems I think. (I may have had this code a long time before limp mode)
But - there are some strange other symptoms.
1. Not in limp mode for first 5 mins of driving
2. Icarsoft reader shows virtually no turbo boost pressure
3. Egr valve does not move from 5% as shown in the code reader.
Question - are symptoms 2 & 3 just how the motor goes into limp mode, or an I looking at the egr valve or that other valve that bypasses exhaust/ turbo - intended to stop the boost when you release the throttle ( sorry i don't know what it is called).
Any pointers please?
It is pretty easy to put the resistors in the swirl flap motor to eliminate this - resistors on order .
Many thanks
John
