Thanks to the Lincoln MB for the drive day, and the chance to drive a few cars.

I chose the less exotic, reasoning that i would not have to que etc.
In the ned it seemed a quiet morning and I got extra rides.

C35 Brabus, estate. I really liked this, so smooth and quiet, very deceptive, comfortable as well, could not believe how low profile the tyres were when I got out.

E250cdi. Nice, not as noisy as expected and will certainly consider as well as the E350.

A45 AMG! A go cart, bucket seats lots on noise, stuck to the road like glue. MPG was showing around 18mpg. Not the best driving position for me and do not think I would like to go a long way in it. Soundtrack may get tiresome?

C63 ( I think) hit head on roof, a rough ride, a bit snatchy at pull away, could have been memory of previous driver, went like stink. Not sure I could live with it as an every day driver?

Wife went in the CLA 220 which she said was quiet and handled ok.
Also the E 250 which she was as impressed as me with. we both had a test in an E 350 last week and would consider this engine now.

Thanks to all at MB Lincoln.

Sounds like a nice day :) Shame you don't get your backside in an SLS.

Hey S88 I was there too, Lincoln MB were great.

The C350 Estate is the Dealer Principle's car, BRABUS ECU and he has stuck on the 19"s from the C63. He's kerb'd the hell out of them as well.

That SLS roadster has just been sold to the owner of Dunelm Mill.

E63 looks lovely. was that diamond silver ?
