Location of 6 cd changer in 2011 e class cabriolet

Hi,

Can anyone please enlighten me as to the location of the 6 cd changer in my 2011 E Class. I’ve looked everywhere. I have an error code “drive unavailable” and want to take unit out to fix. Many thanks.

Some are built in the head unit.

Your A207 is based on the C-Class W204, and will therefore have either COMAND NTG4 (with the large PCMCIA slot) or COMAND Online NTG4.5 (with the smaller SD-Card slot). Your 2011 car is likely to have the former, though I am not 100% sure.

Have a closer look at the CD eject button. If it has the symbol of a triangle that looks like an arrow pointing upwards, then it's a single-disk unit. If it has a symbol that looks like several round CDs stacked-up, then the unit has an internal built-in CD-changer.

Its likely to be a single cd slot. Mb moved away from the 6 cd unit in favour of a hard drive storage, sd card , multimedia connectivity.

My 2013 W204 has the 6 cd head unit so thought maybe the same on a 2011?
